Swimming In My Head…

diving in the deep end…

All Done

We voted today.  You’ll be happy to know that I am officially placing on hold my daily ‘McBidPalinobamatics’ until the election is over.

On to bigger more important news.  Daniel is doing some scheming on Ugly Betty.  Who knew?  Who is this Connor dude and poof-be-gone to evil Kimmie.  Good friggin’ riddance.

  1. What is the process for voting early? I thought it was only available for those who would be unable to get to the polls on election day.

  2. Brian, it depends on which state you’re in. 30 states have early voting this year which can be mail-in or in-person or both.

In Florida this year, we have early voting poll locations at most of the libraries from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. until tomorrow.

After that, people will have to wait until Tuesday.

If you go to this site: http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/24/early.voting.links/index.html

You can see what your state’s rules are.

  6. Brian – did you see wutupdogg’s addition to the blogosphere? She’s heeeeeeeeeeeere! I’m so excited! Wait a minute, I’m ecstatic (sp?)! Checking both of your blogs and responding to your comments is soooooooo much better than CNN!

  7. wutupdogg – the lyrics are of the hizzook…lol…I just laughed out loud because “hizzook” is so uncharacteristic of me. Can you imagine me trying to say that out loud at a committee meeting to MHA?

  8. Brian – which state are you in if you don’t mind me asking?

    Comment by deek1973 | November 1, 2008

  9. Kentucky. You’ve gotta say it with a drawl, and a spit of tobacco usually follows.

I did see that WUD started a blog! LOL @ “hizzook.”

  10. Brian – Kentucky huh? I can honestly say that not only can I speak Kentucky with the drawl and the sound of spitting tobacco, I’ve lived some of it myself.

My family owns a farm in Princeton and my Grandmother, 2 Aunts, 10+ cousins, plus nearly all of my Mother’s family live in Louisville.

    And don’t worry, I said it right – from years of exposure – It’s Lu-vul. : )

Could be worse…you could be in the WV…or is that a television station?

  11. Wow! Small world, eh? Kentucky’s reputation usually proceeds it, but it isn’t really so bad where we live. Eastern Kentucky might be another story though… (envision the movie Deliverance. 😛

  12. Hey! i lived in WV for a while!

    Comment by wutupdogg | November 2, 2008

  13. wait a minute…you lived in Kentucky and you know how to use “hizzook” in a sentence?

    Comment by wutupdogg | November 2, 2008

  14. Brian – “Deliverance” huh? I.E. why I haven’t visited that part of the family for a long, long, long, long, time. But it’s not for the reference to what scares everyone else about “Deliverance”, it’s because banjo music gives me a headache in my stomach…lol.

LL – I didn’t know you lived in the WV for awhile! Now that I know that you’ve graced their presence, I will only make jokes about the WV in the pre and post LL years…lol.

And I never lived in the KY…I just have a lot of family that does and have spent a lot of time there…I learned how to use “hizzook” in a sentence whilst living in the ‘brother-loving’ city of ‘Philashootyouup’, I mean Philadelphia.
